How can my choir join in?

Wouldn't it be wonderful to bring all the choirs in the area together for a massed Jubilee performance? That's our aim! If your choir, or a substantial number of its members, want to be involved then our concert director would be delighted to hear from you.

How will this benefit my choir?

It will be fun, and a great way to be a central part of the Jubilee Celbrations! Also, this is a high-profile, civic event and we can offer a range of opportunities for you to spread the word about your own choir's work. We expect to have plenty of choir-less singers joining in, so it's a great opportunity for you to do some recruitment, too. We hope that the concert will help raise awareness of choral music in the area, and encourage more people to enjoy it and participate in it.

How much rehearsal time does my choir have to devote to this project?

None at all, unless you want to! We have scheduled all of the necessary rehearsals, because we know you're busy with your own projects. However, if you do want to do some rehearsal on your own, we can offer support and guidance about how that time might be best spent.

How much administration does my choir and its committee have to put in?

It would be terrific if you could rally your forces and get as many of your choir as possible to commit to this. Aside from that, there's no need for you to do anything. We supply all the music, communicate with the singers, and arrange everything. Just point your singers in the direction of the sign-up forms or this website. However, if it's easier for you to enrol en masse, then let us know and we can help with that.
