Malvern Liturgical Music Course 2008, 25th – 31st August

The 2008 Malvern Liturgical Music Course covered a wide range of repertoire, including mass settings by Cristobal de Morales and F.J.Haydn, and motets by Giovanni Gabrieli, Anton Bruckner and Paul Ayres.  The singers gave a concert in Great Malvern Priory and sung services in the cathedrals of Gloucester and Worcester.  The final Evensong, in Gloucester Cathedral, included several cori spezzati works by Giovanni Gabrieli, with musicians performing from the Quire and on top of the screen.
